Bushcrafter Posted October 29, 2024 Share #1 Posted October 29, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm new to this forum, but with my 63 years and grey hair, I'm no stranger to photography. Some time ago, I was able to buy a Leica T Type 107, an unused model directly from a store, and because I was so taken with it, I ended up buying a second one a few months later. However, the included rubber straps quickly became, to say the least, a bit annoying. I looked for a way to modify the straps to attach other types, and while I found a few ideas on this forum, none were very detailed. So, I created a clear step-by-step guide with photos showing each part of the process. The modification lets you attach any standard camera strap, or use a detachable system to switch between different straps or wristbands of your choice. I tried posting the link to the guide here, but I think forum rules don't allow sharing personal links. You can probably find my website on my profile page, or feel free to message me, and I'll be happy to share it directly. Marc. Welcome, dear visitor! jaapv Posted October 29, 2024 Share #2 Posted October 29, 2024 Why not use the Leica strap adapters?
Bushcrafter Posted October 30, 2024 Author Share #3 Posted October 30, 2024 Well, I have this rubber belt, I just want another belt on it, and on top of that, the original adapters will easily cost you €40 to €50. The choice is quickly made I think.
