Should I keep this Digilux 2

I checked the recent completed listing on eBay. The four that sold were above $800.

I had one for a couple of years and sold it to move on to another camera. It's a great camera, no question. But it does have some serious limitations -- notably his ISO noise, no RAW buffer, a lousy viewfinder, and relatively low pixel count. Other than that, it's the best all-in-one camera I've ever used.

If I were you I would go with my instincts.

Hello All,

Thank you all very much for the suggestions and opinions.

I took the D2 out for a field trip today to a local zoo and found it to be very easy to adopt and super smooth to use. I got a lot of interesting looks from people who carry a DSLR. :D

I will keep this camera and use it more. In addition, my Metz flash 34 CS-2 works like a dream with D2! :) Much accurate output compare with D1.

Again thank you all for the kind response. Happy New Year!

Darn, I was hoping you'd hate it and I would offer to take it off your hands at a cheap price ;-)

...traded in the digi2 (plus required cash) for the digi3 last summer, but missed the digi2 so much that i purchased it back from leica and kept the digi3...

...the digi3 (especially with new 25/lux) is a great camera (eagerly waiting for the new 17.5-150), but the digi2 is a truly special camera that, at least for me, will fill the gap until the m8 problems are worked out...

I used to have one, -sold it- got an L1, -sold it- and finally found another D2 with the new sensor. I will never sell it, it gives a real pleasure every time I see my files and it is also a pleasure to use it... here are 3 examples I took yesterday that shows the look I love so much. Congrats to the new owner!
