summicron75 Posted October 25, 2024 Share #22 Posted October 25, 2024 I regret selling mine so much. The biggest mistake ever. If anyone has an M10M in good condition and are willing to sell, please DM me! I´m in Spain...

I had some problems getting ttl to meter properly with the Leica air module, but that could be user error. It was the first time I tried. I use mine in manual mode with their basic connect puck. Not sure what the air module is...
Stuart Richardson Posted October 27, 2024 Author Share #24 Posted October 27, 2024 Sorry, I forget the nomenclature. It used to be “air remote”. This thing is called Connect Pro Leica. It is a wireless trigger that allows Leica bodies to use TTL. I don’t give it full marks though. As I said, metering is a bit wonky so far with the TTL on the M10M and while it is ok for the m10 hot shoe, it is so tight it barely fits in the SL2 and does not fit at all in the SL2S. Profoto is hard to deal with if you are not in a big country, so I have not yet tried to get that rectified.
Abram Posted October 28, 2024 Share #25 Posted October 28, 2024 (edited) I was able to buy my M10M a little over 6 months ago now and I was simply enamored with it from day one. I've had my share of M bodies, film and digital, and lord knows how many lenses, but this one has just been an absolute joy. It renders scenes how I previsualize them and I am constantly impressed by how far I can push into the dark. Interestingly I find that it works particularly well with older M lenses, but most of the time my old, and kinda beat up, 35 FLE just lives on there with a Yellow filter and I am perfectly happy. I do think the M10 generation was the best Leica has offered thus-far and after trying an M11 I just couldn't get along with it. I hope to keep this M10M for multiple years, it's a delight! Also, Stuart I need to come visit again next time I get the opportunity to come to Iceland Edited October 28, 2024 by Abram
Olaf_ZG Posted October 29, 2024 Share #26 Posted October 29, 2024 The m10m is my only m. It’s perfect for what it is meant to be: b/w. For color, I have other cameras, non of them m.
Erato Posted November 8, 2024 Share #27 Posted November 8, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) M10 Monochrom stands out as the ultimate choice for black and white photography, delivering exceptional results. Whether using modern or vintage lenses, it consistently produces exquisite and fabulous prints. The chiaroscuro on the Pro Display XDR is simply outstanding to me. I am a satisfied owner, for sure. Olaf_ZG Posted November 9, 2024 Share #28 Posted November 9, 2024 Last night I made a decision to let go off the m10m, my only m. Having invested in the SL system and preparing to buy a Q3 43, I expect the m will get too little usage. It is a tough decision though, but I simply can not have such an expensive camera being rarely used.
