Eternal dilemma: body or lens upgrade?

Upgrade both, but choose the M10-R + Voigtlander 50 f/1.

Ah ah. Not true. I made the decision. I will go on the M11. I think €3k is a good deal for trading my good M10 with a mint M11. All the new features that are rumored on the M12 don't particularly interest me, so, if all goes well I'll keep the M11 for at least 6-7 years. And if all goes well, selling some other gears within 12 months I will be on the market for a used lux in mint condition

Agreed, you can make great images with the lens setup you have. You’ve invested in *personal preferences* of user experience. That will make a difference every time you use the camera.

The lens is always more important than the body. Keep the M10 - get the lens!

Not enough information, why you think, you need an upgrade.

I would go for the Thypoch Simera 50/1.4 ASPH or think about an additional focal length, keep the M10 and save the money until the M12 arrives (hopefully with less problems than the M11 series).

Because a brand new camera will have fewer problems than one out for 2 and a half years?

At the end of the day I did all in on the M ... Sold M10, CV 50 (and a Q2) and got both M11 and 50 lux ASPH I (with less then 2.5 k€ delta)
