I found disabling Leica Fotos connection to phone increases Q343 battery life substantially. Obviously, if you really need geotagging, this solution won't work.

For me It's the two-battery charger, which means with, say a Macbook Pro, delving into system preferences and temporarily disabling energy saving. With the all the earlier chargers it meant simply plugging into the mains.

Why would you plug it into your MacBook though? Just take the usb c cable and plug it into any usb c plug?

Ive never charged a camera from a laptop.

Also, the mains battery chargers are large and cumbersome and extremely inefficient

What MacBook do you have by the way?

13inch Macbook Pro from 2017 running Catalina (would lose Capture One 21 if I went for later OS). Laptop charger lead has USB C plug so wonder if I could connect this straight into the Leica twin-battery BC-SCL6 charger.
