How to shoot a double exposure on an SL2?

Will someone please give me simple step-by-step instructions on how to do this? My Nikon D850 has a double exposure program that makes it easy. The videos I've watched on this are not helpful: I don't want to shoot HDR; just a regular old two frame double exposure.

As frame-it wrote, you cannot do so. 

No reason for it anyway, just make the the double, triple or sextuple exposures and stack them in Photoshop layers - you get al the possible ways to control the end image.

Unfortunately, that is not possible with Leica cameras. While D850 allows multiple exposures with raw output, almost no recent mirrorless camera allows raw output of multiple exposures. Even if they support multiple exposures, the output is not raw.

No, in-camera multiple exposure is not the same as doing it in the post. With JPEG output, you can at least see the result of multiple exposures in the camera and apply it in the post using PS. It is flexible but cumbersome.
