Thanks James, I will have a play, I see your using highlight metering perhaps that’s where I’m going wrong

Just traded my Q3 on a Q3 43 since I “see” the world at longer focal lengths and found myself constantly cropping my Q3 images…

Here is one of my first shots with the new camera. Just a nice walk amongst the redwoods in my city park.

The dappled light pushes the dynamic range of my monitor pretty hard. I actually prefer the result shown on my iPhone (which is an HDR display, if physically small). Such is life.
