I was a few pages behind. Two remarks.

First, big fan of the works of Snooopy. You have a nice way of looking and capturing images!

In general; I have the impression the 43mm gives a better average quality if I compare this thread to the Q3 28mm thread. Maybe that is because of the fact that it is a new camera which is bought by very good photographers first? Or is it the easier focal length?

This is an absolutely stunning image, I’d love to see it with slightly more spare around the top right. But it’s truly gorgeous. Stunningly edited. Well done Snoopy

Hello,

I have had my 43 since launch day, and I take it with my 28 when I leave the house. I have placed one of my images from yesterday in Banon (South of France) below, and I have also placed a link to my Leica Camera Travel Photography Blog below. In this post, there are images from both cameras. I hope you enjoy.

Cheers,

Mark

Agree about work of LUF memeber @snoopy. Also framing of final image with white frame makes impressive difference.

As per image quality of 43mm Q lens. To my non-scientific eye appears to be sharper and with less distortion than 28mm counterpart, but at the same time it lacks some "Leica magic" (IMHO). I was almost 100 % sure to sell my 35mm SL Apo summicron and buy Q3 43, but based on first photos I'm still not sure what to do. On paper Q3 43 seems perfect camera for my needs yet posted photos fail to amaze me. Somehow similar to 35 or 50 1.8 Lumix, great in all aspects except "Leica magic"  and soul.

But I will carefully look at this thread. Maybe after some time I will fall in love with his camera...
