Thank you for your kind feedback, much appreciated! We are still enjoying our short holidays and I can’t wait to see my images on the big screen. The pictures shown are only edited with LR mobile and I just have my iPhone with me, so it is not easy to judge the quality of the files. What I see so far is quite nice 😊

It might be the honeymoon time, but yes, atm I prefer the narrower focal length. I might have found another angle for the shots of the Semperoper from a nearer spot, but it worked quite well with the 43.

Camera arrived this morning, first picture cropped from a full profile to show detail of which I’m very impressed (she isn’t) Will now go away read the manual & learn the settings.

I was very impressed with these: shot at smallest aperture (f/16) and ISO 12,500. No noise reduction. In normal use I might add noise reduction, but the noise pattern has a nice film grainy look - far more attractive than the Q2, and should be easier to remove.
