Got to spend some time today working with astrophysicists at the University of Texas at Austin. Shot this quickly in the Visualization Lab on campus…

Yikes that’s insane isn’t it. 40th second handheld at a 150mm equiv. 4mp or so? Still twice the resolution of instagram. Impressive

(...) otherwise you'd be considered crazy to use such a camera primarily for family photography.

I don't want to derail the thread too much, but as a father of two I wholeheartedly disagree with this statement. Why wouldn't you choose the best camera you can afford for family photography? Those are the most valuable images you'll probably ever take in your lifetime. I too enjoy your family images although black and white isn't really my thing, the images really do stand out in this thread. Keep them coming 👍

I took pictures of this fascinating building a dozen of times from many different angles and with all cameras I own, but this is by far the best morning mood I captured so far. I think I will have a nice big print of this one 😀

Yes, it is for sure worth to print it on the wall! I do not know this building in Berlin, what a beauty! Time to visit Berlin again..
