I don’t have any samples to hand, but I use them often across all of my cameras, Q2M and M10M included.  I prefer the 1/8 strength for most of my output on full frame.  On a Monochrom they will create the exact same effect as on a color sensor or film stock, just without color in the highlights.  If you’d like an idea of the 1/8 Black Pro Mist look, I just shot an outdoor art installation at night and they’re posted to my Instagram, linked in my signature.

I think that the most important thing to note is that the black mist filters aren't really anything like soft-focus filters. For me they have very little if any effect on sharpness, but they do reduce overall contrast and promote flaring in highlights and bleed into shadows. I see it more like applying 1950s coatings to a modern lens. I keep them on my modern Sony lenses but don't on the 1970s Pentax and Nikon lenses that I mount on the same camera as they already have much of the same look. I use 1/8 everywhere as 1/4 is already way too strong and obvious.
