HuntingSand Posted August 6, 2024 Share #1 Posted August 6, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) At all. How can this even be? And where was this lens all my life? Just an amazing optical formula which appears to align with skin textures in the most mysterious and harmonious ways. End of report. T
Advertisement Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 Hi HuntingSand, Take a look here The S 180 APO has no flaws. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
davidmknoble Posted August 6, 2024 Share #2 Posted August 6, 2024 nicely said! I love the 180, and I love the 120, but I prefer the internal focusing, so I use the 180 for long landscapes and sometimes it is too long…. But it is a lot like the M 135 APO 3.5 which I also love! I do think almost all of the Leica S lenses render skin tones well.
ynp Posted August 7, 2024 Share #3 Posted August 7, 2024 Just add the close up attachment and it will be even more perfect
mgrayson3 Posted August 7, 2024 Share #4 Posted August 7, 2024 (edited) Yeah, the Elpro is a mandatory addition for headshots. But it is an absolutely stunning lens - on the level of the Zeiss Superachromats. Edited August 7, 2024 by mgrayson3
