Perhaps Googling "How can I make Starbucks coffee palatable?" The answer, of course, is that you can't.

Back when I was a lineman, I paid for I don't know how many cups of lousy 7-11 coffee. Then when I became an IT developer, the (Starbucks) coffee in the break rooms was free and I refused to drink it because it was unpalatable.

It's quite remarkable how Starbucks is so successful when you consider the mediocre quality of their coffees.  Their chocolate chip cookies and mocha frapachinos are good, though

Have you ever read the little cards that show the nutritional information for their bakery items? It's astonishing. Most of them have enough calories for full meal. Their coffee tastes like something you'd get in a gas station after sitting on a hot burner for several hours.
