I have a couple of APO 50’s. I have a Noct 0.95. Both lenses are incomparable, but fantastic in their characteristics, although completely different. Good luck to make your choice.

You already have a 50 APO as said before, the Summilux 50 ASPH is also an APO lens but without written "APO".
Regarding the lens choice you already own - no character ones - I would dearly suggest getting the Voigtlander Nokton 50/1.0 VM. It beats any Noctilux in image quality wide open (yes, that is true, it does) and keeps some character while rendering modernly. Speaking from an ex-Noctilux owner (50/1 Canada and 50/0.95).

As you used both the CV Nokton and the Noctilux 1.0: what is/was your impression how they compare with respect to field curvature? This seems to be a weak spot of the CV (cf. e.g. the review on phillipreeve.net - no idea why I cannot paste the link here).
