fotografr Posted July 13, 2024 Share #3 Posted July 13, 2024 Good to see you posting your striking portraits again. That combination of camera and lens suits your work brilliantly. Both of these examples are outstanding. 2

It's a shame the minimal focussing distance is 85 cm.

I shoot Hasselblad and film, and although I love the Hassy I also need a snappier autofocus camera for environmental portraits. I’m researching every possible option and these colors make a really strong case for the Leica. Would you say the other lenses also render colors in a similar way? Thank you! Sohail Posted July 14, 2024 Author Share #11 Posted July 14, 2024 I think this lens (manual BTW) has a very distinct signature. So does the 50 Summilux-50. The APOs are all very good but different in how they render. I have the 90 and 28. They're superb.
smarit Posted July 14, 2024 Share #12 Posted July 14, 2024 Thanks! For some reason the most special lenses I’ve come across are manual focus. Noted on the 28 and 90 APOs. The 50 Summilux you mention, is that the 1.4?
