A unique and interesting juxtaposition of background and subject. The young woman's calm demeanor really adds to the impact of this portrait.

Thank you Brent. The young woman was rather shy but placing her in front of a poster promoting a record felt like fun for both of us.

I too felt the perfect juxtaposition is key.  I assume you posed her there intentionally.

Hi Stuart, always get encouragement from both you and Brent, here's my reply to him. "The young woman was rather shy but placing her in front of a poster promoting a record felt like fun for both of us".

According to the title it should fit, but titles aren't everything

For me personelly, the young woman is swallowed up by this background ....

But mayby it does happen at coronations.......🤔😉

I know what you mean Ingrid. When I asked for the portrait, the young woman was sitting in front of a shop window, so I asked if she would mind crossing to the other side of the pedestrian walk-way. I think that I just about got the about best result that was possible (for me).
