Fort Oelegem is a fort of the pre WW1 defense ring around Antwerp, and now (~115 year after it's been built) mainly in use as a bat resort

If you look closely you can see the little sign (with logo) indicating that on the right near the top of the entrance

THIS THREAD IS NOW CLOSED.

Sadly the end of the month has come around again and the 190th Barnack's Monthly thread has to close but which was filled with a wonderful array of more than 2,100 pictures and interpretations of this month's topic!

Thank you to everyone who helped make July 2024's Barnack's Monthly another success by either posting, thanking, or just looking and I hope you enjoyed doing it and will do so again. A special thank you to those who posted for the first time in the thread and, if you did, please post more because we'd love to see your pictures!

The theme for Barnack's Monthly for August 2024 is: Pebble, stone or rock and you can find it at this link.

I really do hope you will follow the link and post some of your pictures.

Thank you all again and see you in the new thread!

Pete.

You seem to be posting images for last month's Barnack's challenge.  this month it's rock, pebble, stone.

Huh, according to the time stamp I see ejk64's photo was posted July 31 at 7:07 am, so fair game for the July challenge.

Even AlMi56's last post before Pete's closure (Kawasaki) is time-stamped July 31, 10:26 pm, so still more than 1,5 hours before closing time 🙄

Sorry - I went into the wrong page.  I posted similar messages to several other members before I discovered my mistake.  I deleted them all but missed yours.
