stuny Posted June 27, 2006 Share #1 Posted June 27, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Back to the Chartres area, to Dreux Chapel (where some of you my remember seeing those crypt pictures). This amazing chapel, worth your visit if you are ever in the area, has a style of stained glass that I can’t recall seeing in Europe before, that includes almost hyperrealism. Below are six windows to make my point, as well as a final, 7th photo (posted before) of the central dome. All DMR RAW with 28-70 zoom.

Dirk Van der Herten Posted June 27, 2006 Share #2 Posted June 27, 2006 Awesome, Stuart, you made your point well. The DMR does a really good job in your hands. Please award yourself with at least one kilo of PM's. Dirk
stuny Posted June 27, 2006 Author Share #3 Posted June 27, 2006 Thank you, Dirk, and I plan to collect on the PM. However, today I bought some La Maison du Chocolat. Above I mention posting seven photos, but the Forum restricts us to just five at a time. Consequently, here are the missing two. Stuart

stuny Posted July 9, 2006 Author Share #7 Posted July 9, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) John & Al - thank you. John - One of the advantages of digital is seeing the results right away. I shot the first window, thought the camer'as aperture preferred result off a bit, went manual, and liked it. After that I used the same manual setting for all the windows, but a different setting for the dome to slightly bring up the carvings around the glass..
