elansprint72 Posted December 6, 2007 Author Share #6 Posted December 6, 2007 Thanks guys; I don't know enough of the history to say why so many Astons were red (I don't think that national colours were ever mandatory). iirc, the blue car behind is a Delage, which is in an approximation of the French national racing colour. As Tony says these cars were very much hand made; the attention to engineering detail is remarkable. Doc, this red is just like a modern Ferrari, in previous times they were a very dull colour then, in the 60's, a very "blue" red; from what I remember of colour temperatures.
