Incorrect date and time

My camera was set with the current date and time, however the photo taken are showing date with 2016/1/1, do anyone know why and how can I fix it?

How odd. Could it be you set the date and time after taking a couple of photos first ?

Which camera? Are you storing the camera without a battery installed? Did you keep the battery in the camera long enough to charge the internal battery?

It is m11-p, I just bought the camera yesterday and havet change the date and time after initial setup, 

So weird that the new photos taken today, the date becomes correct now... Totally no idea what was happening

In the period of the camera's date uncertainty, did you connect the M11-P to Fotos on a phone ?

All is well then. For the next phase get yourself prepared for freezes, write errors and file corruptions.

Anyway, just don't forget to enjoy your camera. Despite the potential shortcomings and I do love mine !
