I have a question. With my m3 the stiffnes, or, myabe better to say, the power you need to advance film to next picture, is changing during the lenght of the film used. In the end, lets say Last 10, 15frames, is more force needed. I don't see this behavior by any other M. Is it a big problem? Thank you for your opinions!

I have several M3's and none of them exhibit any discernable change in feel to wind to the next frame as one proceeds through a roll of film. Possibly time for a service for your M3?

Was the shutter speed, for the previous shot, one of the fast ones such as 1/1000th or 1/500th? If so then perhaps try changing the shutter speed to 1/60th then wind on and then set the shutter speed needed with the shutter now cocked. It might be to do with the different tension for the different shutter speeds that you are feeling particularly if the camera hasn’t been used for some time.
other issues with film misalignment or tension in the take up or canister are also possible as others have mentioned.

not really. Spring tension is always the same regardles what speed it set. Behaviour described by Borda is normal for all film Leicas starting from I until M. Wind spindle, where the film spool sits has a clutch to ckeepthe same length of film being moved with one stroke. At the beginning (less film on the spool) one stroke corresponds with one frame (plus distance between frames - ca 38mm) At the end of film there is more film on the spool one stroke would transport the film much further. And this is what the clutch does - at the end of film the film spool slides over the spindle. Friction (tension of clutch) may be adjusted so it may as well differ from camera to camera. But as long the sprockets at the end of film are not torn and distance between the franes is steady than there is no need to worry about.
