At first I was dubious about approaching Kevin but he was charming. I found that he worked as a tattoo artist in a salon nearby, one that I am familiar with, not as a client but in my quest to meet interesting people. After looking at your many intimate portraits here and in your book, my impression is that you wouldn't be dubious about approaching anyone. That's one of your strengths. Brent Kevin wasn’t wearing that benign face when I approached him just goes to show about appearances and I think knowing that he worked at the Seven Doors tattoo parlour helped to break the ice.
