Thank you very much Brent. Last year I was asked by LocalHero1953 (on this forum)to contribute some images and text for a magazine that he edits for a Group within the Royal Photographic Society. In his editorial Paul demonstrates considerable insight into the connection of place and face. I don't think that he would mind me quoting this "One only has to look at David's portraits to guess that they came from somewhere near ............ The evidence is hardly in the graffiti but rather the look (the performance) of the individuals themselves. Each one has an identity formed by the place where they were encountered and the place in turn is created by them. A clearer relationship between identity and place could not be imagined!"  How thought-provoking is that?

Lily lives but a short distance from where I met her and by the way, she was wearing gorgeous white knickerbockers.
