Our friends were traveling for a few days so my wife and I took care of their cats while they were gone. One night right after we fed them the two males squared off. The "fight" lasted about three seconds and ended with them just chasing each other all over the house. Fun to watch.

Well caught, framed and exposed.  Very typical cat behavior.  I'm often amused to see domesticated cat behaviors echoed among the big cats.

Thank you. Not just big cats but all kinds of animals in the wild do this as training for adult survival. I've seen fox kits, young squirrels and bear cubs doing play fighting.
