psquared Posted December 1, 2007 Share #2 Posted December 1, 2007 Sharookh, An excellent picture. I like the concentration of the photographer and the tiger. I guess elephants are safe from tigers. Peter
sharookh Posted December 1, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted December 1, 2007 Peter - Humans on elephants are relatively safe from the tiger. There is a mutual respect between both animals as long as there is a safe distance maintained between both. Tigers are known, on occasion - to attack elephants, however, mostly when threatened or provoked in some form or another.
stuny Posted December 2, 2007 Share #4 Posted December 2, 2007 Sharookh - Excellent photo and you were very lucky to be in a position to catch it. Interesting that the tourists have an elephant seat belt.
sharookh Posted December 2, 2007 Author Share #5 Posted December 2, 2007 Stuart - Without the rod I dread to think what would happen if a person dislodged from the seat! Many thanks for the comment.
