kmonroe99 Posted April 5, 2024 Share #1  Posted April 5, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm kind of mathematically challenged and I don't have my SL3 yet... I'm wondering if there's a way to do an in camera approxmaton/visualization of a final 65:24 (XPAN) crop. Maybe something like use the 16:9 aspect ratio with 6x4 gridlines? kmonroe99 Posted April 5, 2024 Author Share #5  Posted April 5, 2024 (edited) I saw the info about "framelines" in the manual but looks like it's for video only. Yes, I can crop in post, that's not the point. The goal is to assist with visualizing at the time of taking. If I'm using Fuji GFX, Hasselblad or Panasonic, they have a builtin aspect ratio selection for 65:24. Pass a request til Leica, for instance through the Leica Fotos app. If (sufficiently) demanded, one can hope for it to be implemented (I have, by the way, submitted such a request...).
