Hello.

This caught my eye during a routine cleaning. It appears as though the rear screen has separated from the camera, a bit. Anyone ever seen this?

Leica, NJ applied new leather via the Leica Individualisation Program back in February. Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but I'm sending it back to them in a day or so.

Thoughts?

Honestly I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Maybe you're looking at it now so close, but I'm sure it was like that from the factory. Here's mine. Also my screen is rock solid. Nothing moves back there.

Interesting. I am able to push it, but that's probably just material flexibility.

This is the seam between the top cover and the back plate, more precisely the metal rim around the display cover glass. This rim should be firmly attached to the rest of the back plate and should not move easily when being pressed. However, there may be a gap between the cover glass and the display behind it, so the glass may flex a bit. The width of the gap between the top and back plates is also dependent on the fit between the two parts, so it may vary between cameras. I agree that a gap this wide is ugly and possibly a sign of either part being outside the designed tolerances.
