I can't take photos on my leica d-lux anymore

It constantly tells me it is recording in post-focus and I cant get rid of it. It's been happening for two days.

I am not sure what you mean by 'post-focus'.  I have never seen such a message. Can you please clarify  for me?

Jaap's advice is spot-on.  It reminds me of when I'd call tech support at work, and they'd almost always start with having me reboot (We used to refer to them by, Dial 1-800-reboot)

Post focus is a setting where the camera rapidly focus-brackets. You can then either choose your plane of focus or use (a number of) these images to merge into an increased DOF stack.
