Should I trade in m10-r bp for a m10-m?

I think having a -M version is not the same as loading a roll of Tri-X.  It is a permanently loaded roll of BW.   I like being able to switch between color and BW at my whim.  That's why I don't have a monochrome camera.

But, it looks like you've got a bit of the old GAS going, so go with it!  My recommendation: 📷 📷 📷

I should mention that I have a M-A loaded with a TMax400 now.

Agree for IQ. But not for shooting experience, for me (post #8).  I own both, and can make superb (or mediocre) prints from both.  But they serve different roles for my photography.

The difference for me is that I’m not distracted by looking for potentially successful color pics. My intention, as with B&W film, is to look only for pics that will work well in B&W; luminosity and tonality, not color. It’s not about what the VF or screen shows; it’s about my own vision and mindset.

M10r converts b&w very nicely. The m10m is a winner for the mindset of not having a colour option but with pp, you can do almost anything nowadays..
