One of the lenses I rarely take out due to its weight and haptics is the sigma (bigma) 105/1.4

It delivers impressive images, maybe with the improvement of AF on the SL3 I’ll use it more often

Post your images shot with this lens here

Sharing some samples from around the house to show oof rendering in the foreground and background, on the SL2S

Indeed, amazing lens for portraits and isolating subjects.

It’s 1.6 kilos heavy + the weight of the camera, a nice workout after shooting with it for a whole day 😁

Would love to see some portraits with this lens…

To casually throw it over your should as you walk out the door and break a few ribs

When I had my Sony system this was one of my favorite lenses to use with it.  It's gigantic, and ideally you want to attach your strap to the lens and not your camera body when carrying it because of the stress it places on the lens mount.  There's a reason why it comes with it's own tripod collar and foot.

I've thought about getting it for my SL system but there's a part of me that still hopes Sigma will make a DG DN version.

Some examples (but with Sony, not Leica)...
