Partly because it is some kind of "landscape-photo", where the landscape is very out of focus.
The f1,4-setting of the 50mm-lens may be the cause of the very imperfect "bokeh" (or rather contour-line) of the forest at the horizon in the center. There was much of "purple-fringing" around the branches, especially in the center. My PS Elements (the only program I have) can't automatically adjust that (as far as I know). So, I had to click on that unwanted color and reduce it to nearly monochrome. Some of it is left, but it really doesn't matter regarding the impression of the whole. By the way, "4000" flashed in the viewfinder and the histogram flashed red over the bright parts in the RAW-adjustment-view in PSE. But there was not at all any clipped highs in reality and easy to get acceptable.
The branches are something about three meters away and the image is according to that obviously cropped.
