IP54 Posted March 25, 2024 Share #41  Posted March 25, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Make the face détection an option in each AF mode, and not an AF mode itself, like Sony or Panasonic, to make it usable when you have several people in the field. It's in the S5II, just do the same.

Let's hope Leica isn't paying an outrageous Apple tax for this. BlackMagic raw would be a much better choice. Yes I agree on this to, central to my point is that I believe they are having to pay 'Apple Tax' so a) if you are why only do 1080 b) why bother at all as you say - very curious position to take. Or was it get the camera out now (date was clearly set for some time) and then v2 Firmware looks to address some of the obvious points around using this sensor that Sony already has covered e.g. 10fps, further subject recognition, ProRes etc etc. The new Panasonic's could well be released with features ahead of the SL3 as was hinted at in some reviews online now.

Photoworks Posted March 26, 2024 Share #44 Â Posted March 26, 2024 AWB Â plus 500-1000k option I like to use AWB but tend to process the images warmer in post. It would be nice to have AWB with shift +1 (500k) and +2 (1000K) I think the color balance is quite good, but a little on the cool side.
