I wouldn't. The polarisation will change unless you carefully adjust the filter between each shot resulting in bands of polarisation. The amount of polarisation effect is different depending on the filters relationship to the light axis (say the angle to the sun) and would need to be adjusted as you turn. Near impossible to remove in post. Also even if it was successful you'd get what's described above.

A slider in LR will darken the sky.

Have you considered the Sigmas for your occasional needs? The *i* 20mm is very sharp, tiny and cheap. The 14-24 is the equal of the Leica but cheaper. No filters for that one though but very very sharp, even wide open. Or you could pay more and get the Leica version.
