Guest Posted February 29, 2024 Share #1 Posted February 29, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Given that there is zero EVF blackout when in 2FPS Continuous Drive mode as opposed to Single Frame are there any disadvantages to just using 2FPS (apart from perhaps the occasional "false" second exposure if you have a twitchy finger? I see, from the manual, that the Self Timer doesn't work in Continuous Mode, but are there any other restrictions at 2 FPS. Out of interest, does anyone know why there is a blackout in single frame, but not in continuous?
Advertisement Posted February 29, 2024 Posted February 29, 2024 Hi Guest, Take a look here Single Shot v's 2 FPS Mode. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
ianforber Posted March 1, 2024 Share #2 Posted March 1, 2024 I almost always use my Q2 in continuous low drive mode. Although I almost always just take a single shot there have been times when I got a picture that was better than I expected because the various elements came together better in the second or third shot. geesbert Posted March 3, 2024 Share #3 Posted March 3, 2024 One downside is that you can‘t use the instant review while keeping the shutter pressed, which I like a lot
cookedart Posted March 3, 2024 Share #4 Posted March 3, 2024 If it matters, it looks like the perspective correction feature is not available in continuous mode.

Thanks for the reminder. Note that you cannot see the LPC lines in the viewfinder, nor is it applied to JPEG or automatically in Adobe, but the angle data is still written in the file and can be used to apply LPC manually in ACR or LrC.
