So I got Voigtlander 35 Apo (w/Leica adapter) for my SL2…..now what?

Recommended Posts

There is no reason that this should not work well. The Voigtlander 35 APO is described as almost reaching the performance of the Leica 2/35 APO, and at a fraction of the cost. I believe it is a little longer - this may be an issue with M bodies but not SL.

The Voigtlander doesn't have 6 bit coding, why did you get the Leica adapter as opposed to a cheaper alternative that could also have benefits like an helicoid for closer focusing?

Because I could afford + maybe future will bring a Leica lens

Any other questions?

I suppose you bought it for a reason. So now is the time to apply it to that reason. If you didn’t have a reason: it will make a nice Christmas tree ornament…

Very funny jaapv..

you are a mod…stay out with jokes, dont give ideas to posters who are bored otherwise

if one does not have sl2 with that lens, then why do they post?…intent was to gather input from users of such a combo

What is your problem? I always have my M3 in the Christmas tree.

I think you need to be more specific in what your questions are.

You could have said "Does anyone else have this combo and love it?"   or " What lens should I buy next?"  or "Do you think I made the right call?"

No one here knew what you were asking with your initial post. That is why you're getting answers that are jokes.

"Now what...?" <- What did you mean by this part of the post?
