Indeed a fast area and we went there four of five times during our stay in New Mexico, mostly in the morning or late afternoon. I did shoot many photo's there, thought I beter make a small selection to keep things clear. I spent quite a lot of time here (military) but unfortunately have very few photos taken at that time. In the devistating sun, it's hard to believe that from here, in just an hour east, you can be skiing at Cloudcroft in the Sacramento mountains in snow as white as sand.
