Metal vented lenshood for Summicron 35mm KOB

I own the Cron 35mm version 4 (Germany) with the standard plastic rectangular shade (E39). Would love to have a (thin) metal vented shade but hard to find. Does anyone have any tips?

Yes, there are lots of Chinese vented shades/lenshoods  in various sizes, black or chrome on e Bay, I have several, 39mm, 40.5mm, 43mm.

Check on Ebay for the Leica lens hood 12585. It will fit on 35 and 50 mm lenses. I use this for my Summicron 35 asph.

Leica 12585 or 12585H for efficiency; Leica 12504 for elegance. A 12504 in decent to good shape is significantly more expensive than a well preserved 12585 (with or without H). It's also less efficient as a hood. It looks really good though, whereas the 12585s also look nice yet a bit on the large side for a KOB. (Just my 2c)
