Sony Tough SD card sticking in S3

Yikes. I bought a new card to go with my S3 and chose the Sony Tough card on Dave Farkas' recommendation. Well I nearly couldn't get it out of the camera. Keep wiggling gently and finally came free. Plain old SD card works fine. IDK if it is the camera or card but thought I'd let everyone know as a PSA.

David has not ever recommended those to me.  I also have some and yes, they can be tough (no pun intended) to remove.  I have had great results from the Lexar and SanDisk, none of them stick.

They seem to be a little thicker. I also had problems. I also heard some tough cards lead to problems in M cameras. 

I wouldn't buy one again.

David Farkas recommended the Sony Tough card for Video.  He does not use those for images.  I am pretty certain he uses Lexar for photographs.  This was also 3 years ago.  They are great cards, but they do stick in my SL’s and my S’s…. 

I use the Lexar Gold series which I believe is water proof, but the other Lexar cards are not. I also use the SanDisk Extreme that are also waterproof.

The Sony Tough Cards work fine in my Q3, SL-2 S and CL. Too sticky in the S3, to risky imho in field use for me. I now use an OWC card: good build quality, fits fine. The Compact Card stays in the S3 as permanent backup.
