Carrot Posted February 1, 2024 Share #1  Posted February 1, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Out and about today shooting RAW with M lenses and the Leica M>L adapter, the camera suddenly stopped showing images in both the EVF and LCD after pressing the PLAY button, all it displayed was the image file number. I didn’t fancy doing a reset in the field, and I didn’t eject and replace the battery, which incidentally had plenty of juice left. I just turned the camera off and on a few times over the course of about 15 minutes. I shoot with backup SD1=SD2 and always re-format them in the camera after downloading the images to my laptop at end of day, and switching between the cards (Lexar Professional 2000X 32GB) made no difference. Then suddenly after 15 minutes all was back to normal, both cards displaying images perfectly. I’m on the latest firmware 6, but have been using this for a while now without problems. Hopefully it was just a temporary glitch, but has anyone else experienced this and/or know what the issue is? I did wonder about SD card problems, but as the issue affected both of them, and the problem has now gone away, I’m doubting that’s it. huwm Posted February 1, 2024 Share #4  Posted February 1, 2024 Something similar happened to me, ejecting and replacing battery sorted it as it seems to most ‘glitches’
jaapv Posted February 2, 2024 Share #5  Posted February 2, 2024 This tends to happen if one uses a card from another camera without formatting.
