I sent my Q3 to Leica for repair about 3 weeks ago. Problem: the camera won't do anything other than display SYSTEM ERROR message.

Today I got word that they're replacing the main board, and also the synthetic leather (I didn't mention that as a defect - I guess they saw a scratch on it). I'm told that the repaired Q3 will be returned to me in 4 to 6 weeks. There's no charge for repairs as the Q3 is still under warranty.

I can't help but wonder if the main board needing to be replaced is a rare occurrence, or one that has happened for other people (and if so should that make me lose confidence of the long term viability of the Q3).
