Which remote release for the S3

It does; working distance is about 10 m.

From hardware, I think the S007 had a new remote release plug and it does work on the S3 but I believe the S006 and before are different?

S2 and S(007) are different, suspect the S(006) is the same as the S2...

S006, S007 and S3 use all the same cables; S2 not.

Leica 16029 is the part number for model past the S 006.

I just found a used one in the netherlands.  There seem to be more available for the S2.  The right cable has a blue fitting on the end vs red for the S2 cable.

I have a remote for the S2 which I have used rarely; but for the S3 I couldn't find one. So I use the mirror up and a delay, which is enough to stabilise the tripod vibration.
