HeinzX Posted December 28, 2023 Share #1 Posted December 28, 2023 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Butterfly from an exhibition. Photo made in a room with extrem high humidity. First one jpg out of SL2 without processing. Second one processed with Luminar Neo - image noise and sharpened - plus higher contrast in PS CS5. Used lens Sigma 105 Macro plus 2 ply extender. Advertisement Posted December 28, 2023 Posted December 28, 2023 Hi HeinzX, Take a look here Butterfly in an exhibition. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stuny Posted December 28, 2023 Share #2 Posted December 28, 2023 Should you return to the butterfly exhibit I encourage you to spend a lot of time there before shooting. Once the lens is the same temperature as the exhibit, wipe the front element with a clean microfiber cloth, and shoot. You contrast and focus will improve.
