stuny Posted August 23, 2006 Share #1 Posted August 23, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Bagan was our last stop in Myanmar before returning to Yangon (Rangoon during its colonial years), and we arrived in the midst of a festival. As is the case with so many festivals in the US, food was a major ingredient in Bagan’s festival. Vendors continually offered us tastes and frequently indicated that they would like their photos taken. This little girl, near the entrance to the festival is enjoying a sweet treat, the contents of which I no longer recall. The way she is squatting on her heels is very common for those young and old alike throughout Asia. You can see many more Bagan photos in the 6th and 7th page of Myanmar photos.
