Yes, the RRS L-bracket with grip is a good way to go IF:

- You're NOT using a 35mm f/2 RF Summicron. Unlike the RRS L-bracket and grip for the M10-R, the bracket and grip for the M11 lacks the cutout in the grip that lets you just twist on the 35/2 RF Summicron. You need to remove the grip to mount the goggled lens.

- You're NOT using the 135mm f/2.8 Elmarit-M. This goggled lens has the same problem - the L-bracket / grip has to come off to mount it. .

For those of you that specifically have the RRS bracket for the M11, how tightly fitting is it?

I'm asking because i have an RRS grip for my M11(M) and it's much more tight than I’d expected ....ie, I need to push fairly firmly to get the camera to insert down into (and release out of) the bracket given the friction.

I've had other RRS brackets for other cameras, and once the bottom screw is released, the bracket will pretty much fall off my itself, but this is certainly not the case with my M11 bracket .....is that normal with the M11 version?
