AdamG Posted December 9, 2023 Share #1 Posted December 9, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello everybody, I recently purchased a godox X2T-N and Xpro-N to use with my Leica SL 601. The thing is, whenever I turn on the remote control units the display and viewfinder start to flicker between more light and less light view of the scene. Is it normal? Is it possible to avoid it? Thanks, Adam.
Advertisement Posted December 9, 2023 Posted December 9, 2023 Hi AdamG, Take a look here Leica SL 601 with godox remote control units (XT2, Xpro ) - flickering. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaapv Posted December 9, 2023 Share #2 Posted December 9, 2023 That doesn't sound right to me. Have you tried cleaning the sync contacts?
Anakronox Posted December 10, 2023 Share #3 Posted December 10, 2023 Change your P-A-S-M setting to P-A-S as a first step. I have to do this with all of my Leica cameras when using manual mode flash triggers such as the Godox Nikon versions.
Photoworks Posted December 11, 2023 Share #4 Posted December 11, 2023 Some trigger that are not made for leica have some issues. Nikon pin line up to leica hotshoes ports, but not to correct cabeling. Some triggers can cause a crash of the camera OS. If you are using this trigger you are probably using it in manual mode. you can eliminate your problems by taping the ports on the hotshoe, and just keep the middle pin exposed. This way the camera does not think a flash is plugged in that it needs to talk to.
