Ray Harrow Posted November 30, 2023 Share #1 Posted November 30, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, I volunteer at a local charity shop in London and I get the job of selling higher value items on Ebay. We have received a donation of a Leica Digilux 2 in the box complete with instruction book, lens hood, cables etc but it seems to lack battery charger, . The condition looks perfect but with a dead battery I can't check if it works. How should I proceed, list as is or buy a charger and hopefully it will work. The charity won't be pleased if I spend money on the charger and still can't get it to work! Also included is a Leica SF24D flashgun. this does work and it comes in a nice Antler leather case It also has two "covers" that fit over the flash. I have seen this item on Ebay for sale at a crazy price, unsurprisingly no takers! I know this is an unusual enquiry but I want to do the best I can for the charity. Any advice greatly appreciated. regards Ray
Advertisement Posted November 30, 2023 Posted November 30, 2023 Hi Ray Harrow, Take a look here can I sell a Digulux 2. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
dpitt Posted December 1, 2023 Share #2 Posted December 1, 2023 (edited) I hope you can find a Digilux 2 owner in London this forum who can take the time to lend you his battery for a moment. That would be enough to check the functionality of your Digilux 2. BTW: Panasonic DMC L1 or DMC LC1 and Digilux 3 also share the same batteries Edited December 1, 2023 by dpitt
