Excellent.  In spite of the crossed arms (often body language for defense). he seems communicative and warm.

Outstanding. I don't know how you do this. You keep finding these unusual and visually interesting subjects, then photograph them with great backdrops and perfect lighting. Quite an achievement.

Brent, you give me far too much credit.  The portrait was taken in the shop where Raphaello was working, it has this scruffy vibe. As for lighting, I think there were two fluorescent tubes on the ceiling, nothing within my control.  Raphaello is Italian and one of nature’s gentle souls and I have a number of portraits of him when our paths have crossed.
