I might try souping after developing, then fix. But wonder if that too savage for the poor film.

Can someone enlighten me as to what “scouring milk cleaning agent” is? 

I’m 62 1/2 and have never cleaned my milk or scoured it. Perhaps that’s where I’ve been going wrong all these years. 
 

On a more relevant note, why do nearly all Lomo photographs look so boring? Like HDR, this phase will pass I suppose.

Thanks - now can you enlighten us as to what "Jif" is?

It’s a household cleaning product. Slightly abrasive cream that you might clean your stainless steels pans with.

It’s actually branded “Cif” now, but that’s as mad as calling a “Marathon” chocolate bar “Snickers”.

That would make scanning a problem…
