Advertisement Posted November 29, 2023 Posted November 29, 2023 Hi Steve Ricoh, Take a look here ‘Souping’ after normal development and fixing. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Steve Ricoh Posted November 29, 2023 Author Share #2 Posted November 29, 2023 I might try souping after developing, then fix. But wonder if that too savage for the poor film.
ianman Posted November 29, 2023 Share #3 Posted November 29, 2023 Why don’t they just put them down the toilet?

andybarton Posted January 13, 2024 Share #7 Posted January 13, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Can someone enlighten me as to what “scouring milk cleaning agent” is? I’m 62 1/2 and have never cleaned my milk or scoured it. Perhaps that’s where I’ve been going wrong all these years. On a more relevant note, why do nearly all Lomo photographs look so boring? Like HDR, this phase will pass I suppose. Edit: It turns out that it is Jif.

andybarton Posted January 13, 2024 Share #9 Posted January 13, 2024 It’s a household cleaning product. Slightly abrasive cream that you might clean your stainless steels pans with. It’s actually branded “Cif” now, but that’s as mad as calling a “Marathon” chocolate bar “Snickers”.
TomB_tx Posted January 13, 2024 Share #10 Posted January 13, 2024 Thanks - I didn't think the USA Jif product was appropriate: https://www.jif.com/
andybarton Posted January 13, 2024 Share #11 Posted January 13, 2024 That would make scanning a problem… This is the cleaner that they recommend treating your negatives with. https://www.cifclean.co.uk/products/catalog/cif-cream-cleaner-original.html
