Some emoticons not displaying properly.

I've noticed that emoticons at the bottom of the drop-down emoticon panel in all posts are not parsing and therefore showing short codes (such as :D) instead of a smiley face 🙂.  Up until recently they have parsed properly and shown their intended smilies but now they don't and all historical posts that used these emoticons are only showing the short codes too.

Can this be fixed please?

This is still happening so is there a plan to fix it or at least look into it please?

Also, if one uses the code instead of the menu to create an emoticon it turns up like

And now there is another problem... Use a typed emoticon (which does not work any more) moves up into the emoticon selection window.

Yes, that's happened to me too since I first raise the problem.

The non-parsing emoticons have suddenly started parsing and are working again.  Thank you, Andreas. (Emotican as proof.)
